Horsemanship & Riding Lessons
These lessons will work to educate clients on compassionate horsemanship and horseback riding practices. The overall goal is to create a connection between horse and rider. Our advanced level lessons promote skills and depth of understanding that foster independence and steady growth. Our lesson structure focuses on meeting the client at their level while promoting safe growth opportunities. We offer lessons ranging from early-learner-centered to show-ready equestrians.
Therapeutic Riding Lessons
These lessons provide a safe environment for individuals with physical, mental, and/or social-emotional limitations to learn about horsemanship and horseback riding skills. Appropriate horses, equipment, and trained support personnel. Most importantly, a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor teaches these lessons.
Instructor Training
With over 25 years experience in the equine industry, especially equine-assisted activities and therapies, this wealth of experience and knowledge can become yours. Fees are based on time, travel and
This program is set up on an individual basis depending on the instructor’s experience, skills and goals. We will develop a plan to help you achieve your instructor goals, whether that is to improve your teaching technique, skills at group lessons, or gain a certification. An agreement will be provided which outlines methods of communication, location, and expectations for the mentee and mentor.
Becoming an instructor who is able to progress their students, develop their ability to be independent, safe, and effective in their riding is a long term goal that all good instructors continue to develop.
